about

Singing a tad too loud for such a lovely song, but our singing was based on folk performances without microphones so we ranged from "loud" to "louder" in those days. The orchestra's OK at the beginning of the track so the tune comes through. Strangely, 40 years later, we sang "The Broom" on our "Final Concert" CD. How time flies when you're having fun. It's a great song and we shamelessly stole it from the magic Archie Fisher.
