about

"What Would Have Happened" was the first of four Rab Noakes' songs on the album. Rab was/is a great song-writer and we thought we could do a reasonable job singing his songs. We were too optimistic. We had a constant battle with the orchestra and the voices tend to get lost, but it's different. Great song though and Rab's still a friend so he let us off.
P.S There's a "la la" bit in the middle of the original recording which we never performed "live" and so we cut it from subsequent recordings. I think I got off with that, time will tell.
