about

We met Pete Morgan, poet and all-round good guy, just before we recorded the album and I put a bit of music to a couple of his poems, "The Second Mariner's Song" and "Captain's Lament". He was an all-action poet and performer whom you had to see "live". Pete was "well before his time".
The song is unaccompanied and is therefore exposed to the sounds of the trampled LP record but we managed to get a Danish Beocenter 2000 turntable from my best friend and wife, Ellen, which seemed to do the trick ......and track.
