about

An Aytoun poem from "Lays of the Scottish Cavaliers" again. I wrote the tune, as usual, listed it as trad. Silly boy.
I got shivers up my back each time we sang the song. Maybe it's because I mis-pronounced "bow" as in bow windows. N.B. "Bow" and Homer Simpson's "doh" should rhyme. The only time I got it wrong was in this recording. Bit late to worry about it though. I like the same chording going from the end of the verse into the chorus. Sounds like a key-change.
