We didn't have tuners in the old days so we tuned to the concertina. Sometimes Derek and I would double check tuning and change it. That was the case in this song which had a whistle intro and then very sharp # guitars came thundering in. Hamish had a great talent for instantly changing pitch to match our tuning idiosyncrasies so he did that and we let it go, but 50 years later I have raised the pitch of the whistle to almost match the guitars because it annoyed me for that half century. I'm sure there will some purists who don't appreciate the effort. So sorry.
