There were a few clicks and noises on this one, some of which I found difficult to remove, manually, but it's much better than the source format, as are the levels. We heard Lindy Cheyne sing this first and I'm glad we recorded it. It's predictable that listeners will think some of the songs are well known to the folk scene but material was hard to come by 50 years ago, hence the necessary oral tradition. Once upon a time it was Jeannie Robertson and Hamish Henderson who had all the songs, now it's Google.
