about

Here's something I suspect you don't know. This song is from "Songs of the North Vol.2". It's called The Fairy of Ben A Vreek (Cailleach Neinn A' Bhric). The chorus is: "Fairy of the upland dell, fairy of the haunted well" etc. I just couldn't imagine us singing that and changed "fairy" to "Kora" which was made up for the song. I made some changes in the text to suit the different tune in the verse. The basis of the original song is there though. Hamish sings beautifully and I'm pleased with the harmonies.
