about

Goodnight and Joy......what it says on the tin really. 12 string Old English guitar again, I'm surprised that I used it so much in this album and "No Strings Attached" and I think it's on "Turn Again" as well. It was Roy Williamson of the Corries who gave me the contact address for guitar-maker John Bailey in London. I managed to contact him and ordered a Corries-type guitar and he kept getting in touch with new ideas plus innovations. I was delighted and the instrument is still my pride and joy. Just happy I used it so much. Good song and happy with the live performance, singing-wise, of the whole album. Sorry about the intros.
N.B The Corries always helped us, as good musicians do. Great lads.

I can't remember where the text came from but it's listed as "traditional". I might have written the tune, but it's too far back in the mists of time and the fog of brain.
