about

In the early seventies, not many groups had toured the Faroe Islands. Some had sung in Tórshavn but none had toured there. We loved the Faroe Islands and the people, so we asked for a tour of the villages, towns and islands and, by golly, we got one. It was a time of magic and my song doesn't do it justice for which I apologise. Also, there's a strange harmony, just one note, but I don't how it got through "quality control".
The Faroes? Imagine, after a great gig, 2.00 in the morning, bright skies, a small motorboat, land just visible on the horizon, beers, singing our wee hearts out.
